Industrial Engineering & Digital Solutions Associate Internship

SUMMARY

Assists in continuous improvement projects by integrating traditional Industrial Engineering methods with digital solutions such as augmented reality (Vuforia), data visualization (Power BI), and workflow automation (Power Automate). Supports process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing operations through both Lean practices and technology-driven enhancements.

Details

Education

Student pursuing a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field at an accredited university. Preference for Sophomore or Junior students.

Language Skills

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, findings, and improvement suggestions in writing and verbally.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to analyze operational data and apply basic statistics, rates, ratios, and interpret visual data (graphs/charts).

Reasoning Ability

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset. Ability to logically troubleshoot and propose solutions.

Computer Skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Interest or experience in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or augmented reality tools like Vuforia is a strong plus.
