TENG project teams help our clients develop, enhance, and maintain their industrial facilities, with significant expertise in Oil & Gas manufacturing, storage, and distribution.

We have need for I/E Engineer and Electrical Designer (Intermediate) reporting into our Sherwood Park Project Team for Project starting in Q1 2026 for 1 to 2 year period.

The following are the requirements for the role:

- Licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta preferred - 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering and/or design with at least 7 years of industrial experience in an EPC or EPCM environment

- Experience working on FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of a project.

- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English

- Experience in Oil and Gas industry

- Hands-on design and lead designer capabilities

Duties include:

- Interface with project team or directly with client to develop functional requirements and assess required project deliverables.

- Review scope, schedule and budget of engineered electrical and instrument design deliverables.

- Prepare, supervise preparation, or checking of low-voltage electrical and instrument design deliverables including plot plans, area classification drawings, single line diagrams, cable schedules, design calculations, control schematics, grounding and lighting drawings, cable/conduit/tray routing, specifications and other deliverables typical within a construction work package.

- Provide supervision and guidance to Engineers and Designers within a project team.

- Coordinate design activities with other engineering disciplines.

Additional Requirements:

- Some travel will typically be required within Canada for short durations (typically 2-3 days).

- Travel could be required for on-site reviews, project scoping and/or front-end work, and supervision or assistance with commissioning and startup activities.

- Most work is performed hybrid model - office, site and home base.

- Required to walk, climb stairs and while on site to stand for moderate periods of time.

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
