Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HVAC Field Supervisor with a valid Texas HVAC Master License. This leadership role involves managing field operations, leading HVAC teams, and ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and up to code. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
•Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train HVAC technicians across multiple job sites. Foster a positive team environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
•Project Management: Oversee HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects from inception to completion. Ensure tasks are executed smoothly within specified timelines and budgets.
•Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and company policies. Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify any deficiencies.
•Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide timely updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
•Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for complex HVAC systems. Stay current with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
•Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in strict compliance with safety/code regulations and company policies. Conduct safety training sessions and regular safety audits.
•Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of HVAC parts and equipment. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place orders for materials, managing delivery schedules to avoid project delays.
Qualifications
•Licensing: Valid Texas HVAC Master License (required).
•Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential and commercial applications. Proven track record in a supervisory role.
•Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required. Additional certifications (e.g., NATE, HVAC Excellence, OSHA) are highly desirable.
•Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Technology: Proficiency with using apps on a tablet for job documentation, dispatch, and communication.
•Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and tools. Ability to work in various environments, including attics, basements, rooftops, and other confined spaces.
