HVAC Apprentice or General Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking hard-working, mechanically inclined individuals to fill open positions in our Bond-Tite Tank Service Team. This position reports directly to the Service Manager/ Owner, (apprentices) dotted line to Lead Technicians, who will also provide hands on training during the onboarding period. Hours are 6am- 230pm Monday- Friday. The opportunity for overtime is available in week. Teams of 2 or 3 depart from and return to the plant in Rochdale, MA daily. We travel throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Eastern CT and southern New Hampshire to install and or remove residential oil tanks in people’s homes and businesses.

Compensation is $18/hour for apprentices to start.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Ensure that the company vehicle has the equipment needed for the next day’s installation schedule,

- Be a productive and positive team member, who’s eager to learn and willing to help, and finally

- Represent the company professionally to each homeowner you encounter on the job with the proper attire and positive attitude.

Qualifications & Skills

- Opportunity to earn your MA Oil Burner Technician license,

- Apply for an Receive your MA Oil Burner Apprentice card (within first 60 days),

- Preference will be given to those applicants who have either an apprentice card, or a MA Oil Burner License,

- Excellent Attendance Record and arriving on time each day is expected,

- DOT Physical (required within first 30 days),

- Clean Driving Record,

- Ability to Lift/ Maneuver 50 or more lbs,

- You will bend, stoop repeatedly through the day, and

- Must be a Team Player with a Positive Attitude!

Education

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
