HVAC Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment and systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

- Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.

- Read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design and installation.

- Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.

- Perform property maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.

- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during service calls.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field or related areas such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance.

- Strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boiler systems, and ammonia refrigeration.

- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installations and repairs.

- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.30 - $40.00 per hour
