SummaryThe HVAC Technician will be required to diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs. Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. Repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a comfortable work environment and maintaining operational readiness. Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance. Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities. Position is 7 days a week.
- Maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.
- Collaborate with subcontractors on larger projects to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems for preventative maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Document all work performed accurately.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with at least 3 years experience working on HVAC systems.
- Must have EPA Universal certification for handling refrigerants
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in the field.
- Valid driver's license is required.
