Essential Duties / Functions
Golden Pass has an opportunity for a Human Resources Intern to join our team/
You will be part of every aspect of our recruitment operations from start to finish. Your job will range from contacting and interviewing candidates to conducting pre-employment screening and assist with recruitment plan updates and reporting.
•Assist the Human Resources Department with various projects including creating and updating forms, typing correspondence, and creating spreadsheets and document templates.
•Assist in Recruiting processes such as: scheduling interviews for hiring managers, pre-employment drug screening, and I-9 verifications.
•Data collection for audit requests, as needed.
•Assist with VOE’s, creating a Processes & Procedures Guide, and file log.
•Assist with putting together materials and set-ups for orientations, meetings etc.
•Assist with logging and submitting HR Benefit invoices to the Accounts Payable department.
•Assist with sorting and distribution of compliance posters.
•Assist in creating a job catalog for all job descriptions.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
•Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
Skills and Qualifications
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
•Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
•Required: Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
