Lead the assigned spend with a short and medium-term compliant,
resilient, and sustainable sourcing strategy to meet total cost of own-
ership and supply performance targets.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements in line with factory
expectations to deliver price, lead time, and Terms & Conditions in-
formation, controlling its usage in local ERP systems.
Define and mandate Supply Quality and Development team on Sup-
plier Management activities. Collaborate with factories and
BU/GPG/HBU stakeholders to support bidding, design to value
(DtV), and R&D activities.
Initiate projects to cut total cost of ownership and/or mitigate risks.
Take ultimate accountability and approval authority, reviewing and
ensuring the quality of the team's operations in accordance with Hi-
tachi Energy, BU, and HBU regulations and procedures.
