Step into the role of
HUB Category Managerlocated at the
Mount Pleasant, PAsite and drive impactful procurement strategies that shape the future of sustainable energy. You’ll lead assigned spend categories with short- and medium-term sourcing strategies that ensure compliance, resilience, and sustainability—meeting total cost of ownership and supply performance targets.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to meet factory expectations.
- Control contract usage and maintain accuracy in local ERP systems.
- Define and guide Supplier Management activities with Supply Quality and Development teams.
- Collaborate with factories and stakeholders to support bidding, DtV, and R&D initiatives.
- Launch projects to reduce total cost of ownership and mitigate risks.
- Review and approve team operations for compliance and quality.
- Ensure alignment with Hitachi Energy, BU, and HBU regulations and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supplier management processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and risk mitigation strategies.
