CES Energy Solutions is looking for an individual to become a part of the HSE team who can support the HSE program for assigned region and throughout its Canadian operations. The HSE Area Coordinator
will be based in
Nisku, Alberta. The successful candidate will work with a team of HSE professionals throughout Western Canada to help CES Energy Solutions provide a safe and healthy work environment for its employees. The position will be the single point of contact for their assigned territory and report to the HSE Manager, HSE Site Services - Canada.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Visit, inspect and audit workplaces and staff.
- Coordinate between facilities and HSE Corporate Services Team.
- Provide safety support for Canadian employees.
- Conduct HSE onboarding and orientations for new hires.
- Provide reporting on assigned HSE region.
- Perform other duties as instructed by HSE management.
- 3-5 years relevant HSE or related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a safety discipline.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Experience with HSE practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) that allow effective communication at all levels of the company; both within the field and office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High personal ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in oil and gas is preferred.
- This position is based in Nisku.
- Regular travel (up to 25%) should be expected with periods of more intense travel.
- Fieldwork will require outdoor work in a variety of conditions.
- Company truck will be provided.
