We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Student f to join our Vale Ontario Operations Human Resources Team. This is an 8-16 month position working from a hybrid environment.
As a Talent Acquisition Student, you will have the opportunity to further your development by providing day-to-day support for various projects and initiatives within the Talent Acquisition Team. You will have a holistic and enriching experience like no other, with opportunities to learn and participate in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, succession planning, leadership development, and more!
- Manage assigned recruitment files from start to completion as required, Including but not limited to making job descriptions, posting jobs, screening candidates, pre-screen interviews, conducting interviews, candidate selection, presenting offers, etc.
- Assist recruitment team in determining sourcing and recruitment strategies.
- Assist recruitment team in planning recruitment initiatives and events.
- Manage assigned projects in a manner that meets quality, time, and resource requirements.
- Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.

- Currently enrolled as a student in a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-Op) Program. Concentration in Human Resources & Labor Relations is preferred.
- Solid verbal, written and analytical communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel.
- Proven time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
