What You'll Do

- You'll be based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center and can expect to work in the field with up to 50 to 75%% travel.

- Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD’s, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries.

- Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.

- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

- Periodically inspect equipment, and locate and correct problems before breakdowns occur

- Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment.

We’re Experts,

which means you'll have the following skills and experience:

- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training

- Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design

- 8+ years of formal technical training - 10+ years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear.  Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters

- Positive, self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
