Albrightson Excavating and Trucking is a locally owned company that offers you freedom to do your job along with an opportunity to work on new and different equipment. Albrightson is looking for a 1st shift Equipment Mechanic, Monday-Friday that loves their work. Our office is 15 minutes from Hudson and Menomonie right off the interstate. You will be home every evening.
Job Description:
•
Diagnose and repair equipment including compactors, excavators, loaders, dozers and dump trucks.
•
Respond to customer needs in a positive supportive and timely manner.
•
Maintains a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures.
•
Documents labor, parts assuring that work order can be closed.
•
Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs.
•
Use various diagnostic tools to evaluate, identify and resolve equipment issues.
•
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems relating to the equipment and its components.
•
Use skills and knowledge to problem solve and diagnose root causes
•
Operate service truck for repairs on the job site.
Qualifications:
•
Two year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience
•
CDL is a plus
•
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers
•
Good verbal and written communication skills
•
Own mechanic tool set
