Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities:

- Must have the ability to diagnose, adjust, repair, overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as hoists, pumps, cranes and pile driving equipment

Operate and maintain various types of equipment, such as forklifts

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Transport materials or equipment to designated areas within the facility

- Assist with loading and unloading of materials or products

- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

Skills:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Proficient in operating heavy machinery and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
