Job Overview

W.M. Warr & Son, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy equipment (Caterpillar, Volvo, and Komastsu) on our construction sites.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Duties

- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests on heavy equipment to identify issues

- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components

- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems efficiently

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Must have own Tools

- Must have a clean driving record
