Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Fort McMurray, AB. The selected candidate will perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of heavy equipment, diagnose faults, and conduct troubleshooting to keep machinery fully operational. They will ensure all repairs align with safety standards and best practices, document completed work accurately, and maintain tools and equipment in working order.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance

- Expertise in Heavy Equipment operations and Equipment Repair

- Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical and technical issues

- Experience working with equipment in industries such as Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging, or Heavy Construction

- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices for working with heavy machinery

- Ability to work in a hands-on, physically demanding role in on-site environments

- Red Seal Certification in Heavy Equipment Mechanics is Mandatory

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
