As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Off-Road Mechanic

to join our maintenance team.

Position Overview

The Heavy-Duty Off-Road Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty off-road equipment including but not limited to haul trucks, loaders, graders, dozers, and excavators.

- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.

- Complete field service calls and emergency repairs in challenging off-road environments as required.

- Maintain accurate and detailed service records.

- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies.

- Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other team members to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

- Journeyperson/Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician certification.

- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing off-road or heavy construction equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated expertise in hydraulic and diesel systems.

- Experience using diagnostic software and tools.

- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 as required).

- Clean Driver Abstract

- Clean criminal record

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Preferred Assets

- Experience in mining, forestry, civil construction considered an asset.
