- HAAS CNC Lathe

Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC LATHE machines to perform precision machining operations

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations

- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications

- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances

- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment

- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a set-up HAAS CNC LATHE machinist

- Proficiency in operating HAAS controls.

- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments

- Familiarity with assembly processes is a plus

- Forklift certification is a plus
