Group Services General Labourer

The Group Services General Labourer assists intercompany departments with ongoing projects requiring additional personnel support. Task assignments may include general building maintenance, shipping/receiving, project site assistance, and other tasks or projects. As training and skills are acquired, the Group Services General Labourer will continue to be assigned diverse and increasingly challenging tasks. Depending on project assignment some travel may be required. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment.

The Group Services General Labourer is a unique position within our Company. A mechanical aptitude along with the ability to grasp new concepts and follow directions will provide a good base for this role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Pick items to fulfill customer requests from Order Desk + Assist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances + New equipment sales + Mining related inspections (e.g., hoist truck, wire rope, electrical cable) + Skip and skip attachment, including maintenance and repair + Cleaning + Snow removal + Check fire extinguishers + Fluids and greasing maintenance
