The Position:

We’re looking for our next great team member! We need one or two General Labourers to support our production processes in our shop. This role is a key member of the team to help ensure that operations run smoothly. This is also an opportunity to grow with us; start in this role and demonstrate your ability and willingness to learn and we are willing to teach you the trade of welding and fabrication. We do custom, specialized work, join our team and be a part of amazing products and projects.

What You Will Do:

· Organize tools and materials to prepare for fabrication process

· Set up equipment and tools as required

· Assist with loading/unloading trucks, organizing raw materials, loading finished product, crating and generally prepare product for shipping

· Assist equipment operators, fabricators and welders as required

· Use a tape measure, squares, and various, basic hand and power tools

· Follow all policies including safety standards and contribute to a respectful and safe work culture

· Various other shop duties as assigned

What You Bring:

· Previous general labour experience in the manufacturing industry an asset

· Previous experience or education in cabinetry and woodworking trade an asset

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support the team to meet production deadlines

· Experience with plastic welding & fabrication preferred but if you bring a great work ethic & attitude, we’re willing to train you when you’re ready

· Ability to follow instructions and procedures, show initiative, work with minimal supervision to finish tasks

· Punctuality, dependability, reliability

· Ability to adhere to safety standards and protocols

· Good communication and interpersonal skills
