The Intern will be responsible for:

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of global engineering efficiency projects

- Conduct research and gather data to support engineering decisions

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success

- Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders. Track project progress and report any deviations from the project plan.

- Provide technical support and assistance in the design, development, and implementation of engineering efficiency solutions

- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies

- Other duties as assigned.

The Intern also will learn about the following:

- Engineering design tools inclusive of mechanical, electrical and software

- Project planning

- Efficiency calculations and strategies

- Product standardization methodologies

- Productivity improvement strategies

Skills/Requirements

- Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical Engineering majors preferred.

- Minimum GPA of 3.0.

- Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.

- Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.

- Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Additional Information

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.

- No relocation assistance provided.

- Internship is 12 weeks, May 26 - August 14, 2026
