We are seeking a mid-level Cartographer to join our team. In this role, you will conduct environmental studies and produce detailed mapping using your technical knowledge and experience. You will work with GIS concepts and procedures, actively expanding your expertise through hands-on practice and collaboration.

- Performs moderately complex desktop reviews and field studies for environmental considerations during project planning, design, and construction.
- Produces accurate, visually effective maps and spatial data products using GIS and cartographic software (e.g., ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, CAD) for clients and government agencies
- Develops an understanding and complies with quality program relative to assigned tasks. Contributes to the continuous improvement of guides and
- Develops an understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Seeks out supervisor or project leadership to share information and gain guidance with respect to details of design and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Coordinates with others as assigned by supervisor or project leadership.
- Completes proposals for assigned department with internal marketing team.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to support projects with cartographic expertise.
- May represent the team or department in contacts and relationships with the client, public, government agencies, contractors, and other consultants.
- Functions in a mid-level Cartographer capacity. Performs environmental studies and mapping requiring some knowledge and experience. Is familiar with GIS standard concepts, practices, and procedures and continues to develop technical expertise through applied practice.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree - Cartography or related field or related field.
- EXPERIENCE - Minimum 7 years related work experience.
- CERTIFICATION & LICENSURES - GISP preferred
