Nous recherchons un(e) gestionnaire de comptes pour rejoindre notre unité d’affaires dédiée aux centres de données. Ce poste est responsable de la gestion et du développement des relations stratégiques avec les principaux acteurs de l’écosystème des centres de données, notamment les hyperscalers, les fournisseurs de colocation, les entreprises de conception-construction, les consultants MEP et les partenaires OEM.

En tant que gestionnaire de comptes, vous dirigerez les efforts de vente pour notre portefeuille d’équipements, en favorisant une implication précoce, une influence sur les spécifications et une satisfaction client tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.


Responsabilités principales


Ventes et gestion de comptes :

- Élaborer et exécuter des plans de comptes stratégiques pour les clients assignés dans le secteur des centres de données.

- Maintenir des relations solides avec les représentants des clients, les consultants, les entrepreneurs et les partenaires OEM.

- Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de projets (nouvelles constructions et projets de modernisation).

- Gérer la qualification des opportunités, le développement des propositions et la conclusion des ventes avec le soutien des ingénieurs d’application.

- Suivre activement le pipeline de ventes et prévoir les performances à l’aide d’un CRM.



Leadership technique et commercial :

- Collaborer avec les ingénieurs d’application pour le choix des systèmes, le dimensionnement des refroidisseurs et le support technique.

- Se tenir à jour sur les tendances technologiques CVC dans les centres de données (refroidissement liquide, schémas de redondance, codes énergétiques).

- Mettre en avant les solutions à long terme, y compris l’intégration des contrôles, les services après-vente et les outils numériques.


Collaboration interfonctionnelle et avec les partenaires :

- Coordonner avec les représentants ou distributeurs OEM pour les ventes indirectes.

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de produits, des opérations et de service pour assurer la satisfaction des clients.

- Participer aux appels d’offres, aux revues de conception client et aux visites de sites.



Profil recherché


Formation et expérience :

- Diplôme universitaire en génie mécanique, administration des affaires ou domaine connexe.

- 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en ventes CVC ou en gestion de comptes techniques; une expérience avec les refroidisseurs est un atout important.

- Une expérience avec les clients finaux, consultants ou entrepreneurs du secteur des centres de données est un avantage.



Compétences clés :

- Solide connaissance des systèmes à eau glacée, des stratégies de refroidissement pour centres de données et des systèmes mécaniques.

- Capacité à mener des ventes consultatives et à interagir à la fois avec des profils techniques et décisionnels.

- Compétences en gestion de pipeline de ventes et maîtrise des outils CRM (Salesforce ou équivalent).

- Excellentes aptitudes en communication, en présentation et en négociation.



Indicateurs de succès

- Croissance du chiffre d’affaires et atteinte des marges prévues pour les comptes gérés.

- Conversion du pipeline en projets réalisés et exactitude des prévisions.

- Taux de satisfaction et de fidélisation des clients.

- Taux de réussite en spécifications et engagement client précoce sur les projets.



Déplacements requis

- De 30 à 50 % du temps selon la zone attribuée, incluant des visites de clients, réunions de conception et événements de l’industrie.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Data Center Business Unit. This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the data center ecosystem, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, design-build contractors, MEP consultants, and OEM partners.

As an Account Manager, you will lead sales efforts for our equipment portfolio, driving early engagement, influencing project specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities


Sales and Account Management:

- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned data center clients and verticals.

- Maintain strong relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors, and OEM partners.

- Identify and pursue new project opportunities (both greenfield and retrofit).

- Lead opportunity qualification, proposal development, and deal closure with support from Sales Application Engineers.

- Proactively manage the sales pipeline and forecast performance using CRM tools.


Technical and Commercial Leadership:

- Collaborate with Sales Application Engineers for system selection, chiller sizing, and technical support.

- Stay up to date on HVAC trends relevant to data centers, such as liquid cooling, redundancy strategies, and energy regulations.

- Promote lifecycle solutions, including controls integration, aftermarket services, and digital tools.


Channel and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate with OEM representatives or distributors for indirect sales.

- Align with Product Managers, Operations, and Service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and delivery.

- Support major RFPs and participate in customer design reviews and site walkthroughs.



Qualifications


Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.

- 5 to 10 years of experience in HVAC sales or technical account management; experience with chillers is strongly preferred.

- Experience working with or selling to data center clients, consultants, or contractors is an asset.


Skills and Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, data center cooling strategies, and mechanical systems.

- Consultative sales skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders.

- Strong organizational skills with experience managing sales pipelines and using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.


Key Performance Metrics

- Revenue growth and gross margin achievement within assigned accounts.

- Conversion of sales pipeline into booked projects and accurate forecasting.

- High levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Early-stage project engagement and success in specification placement.


Travel Requirements

- Travel up to 30–50% depending on the assigned territory. This includes customer site visits, design meetings, and industry events.
