- System Administration & Maintenance:Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, ArcGIS Web Adaptor) on both Windows and Linux environments.
- Administer and manage ArcGIS Online organization, including user accounts, content, and security settings.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance of all GIS services.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to keep the GIS infrastructure current and secure.
- Database Management:
- Manage and administer enterprise geodatabases, including schema design, versioning, and access control.
- Work with database administrators to ensure the performance, integrity, and security of GIS data stored in relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Develop and implement data backup, recovery, and archival procedures for GIS data and systems.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS users, addressing issues related to software installation, data access, and application functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, user guides, and best practice documents.
- Conduct training sessions for users on new GIS tools, applications, and workflows.
- Security & Governance:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for the GIS environment to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Manage user roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels for different groups of users.
- Participate in the development of GIS governance policies and standards.
- Application Development & Integration:
- Support the development and deployment of custom web mapping applications, dashboards, and mobile solutions using tools like ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, and ArcGIS Survey123.
- Work with application developers and other IT staff to integrate GIS services with other business systems and applications.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python (ArcPy).
- Proven experience with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the full ArcGIS Enterprise stack (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Data Store).
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Online administration.
- Experience with enterprise geodatabase management in a relational database environment (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python (ArcPy), for automation and geoprocessing.
- Expertise in Esri's ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with web technologies and services (e.g., REST, SOAP, HTML, JavaScript).
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
- Esri Technical Certification (e.g., ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Associate/Professional).
