The Role
We are actively seeking a driven and experienced
General Managerto oversee one of our high-impact branches of F.H. Furr in Finksburg, Maryland. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on people, performance, and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Direct day-to-day operations across service, install, sales, and administrative teams
- Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with organizational goals
- Own your branch P&L—manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability
- Hire, train, and lead high-performing teams that reflect our culture and values
- Create accountability through KPIs, metrics, and operational standards
- Champion a customer-first mindset at every level of the business
- Foster strong vendor and internal relationships to support branch goals
- Promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment- 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in service or operations-heavy industries
- Proven success leading teams and managing a branch or business unit P&L
- Strong communicator and motivator with high emotional intelligence
- Resilient and agile leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Track record of driving results and building positive, winning cultures
- Industry experience in home services is a strong plus, but not required
