Gas Station Stocker

Position Description: Job Overview:

The Stocker/Light Maintenance position will rotate and stock merchandise, pop, and beer deliveries, as well as perform routine maintenance and light repairs within the car wash and store.

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to:

Ability to account for numbers of a variety of products during vendor check in

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to stock shelves, coolers, and ice machine

Ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temp of 40 degrees for up to 60 minutes at a time

Ability to react to a fire by lifting fire extinguisher weighing 25 lbs and moving it over fire area

Ability to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers and place in an outside bin

Ability to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store

Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs

Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include: repairing drywall, replacing lightbulbs, repairing cabinet doors and other building fixtures

Perform routine maintenance on the car wash

Ability to handle high levels of stress

Regular and reliable attendance

Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness

Qualifications/Experience/Education

Ability to speak and understand English, including the ability to hear the spoken word

Ability to read, understand, and write the English language at the eight-grade level

Knowledge of general carpentry and repair a plus
