The Gas Control Dispatcher holds a diverse position responsible for supporting all areas of field operations. This position plays an important role in the daily operations designed to keep gas flowing in the Powder River Midstream field. Gas Control is the information hub; a central contact for multiple companies to relay information to and receive information from. Personnel working in the field rely on Gas Control dispatchers to send out timely and complete information in an effort to keep their work running smoothly. In short, Gas Control monitors the field through the use of multiple applications and calls personnel out to handle any issues that arise.
- Monitor all TentySoft programs for possible issues with equipment in the field
- Monitor Ferguson Beauregard for well/pod issues
- Investigate all alarms thoroughly to determine the validity of the alarm
- Call appropriate personnel to the site when an issue has been identified
- Keep accurate notes on field activity throughout the shift
- Notify all pertinent parties of activities in the field
- Send field update emails on the Gas Control email string a minimum of every two hours
- Communicate all on-going activities at the end of the shift to lead personnel and other Gas Control dispatchers in an End of Shift email
- Maintain callout schedules for compression and production
- Monitor tracking system to assure all personnel are safely out of the field at the end of the day
- Identify and communicate the on call personnel at the end of regular operating hours
- Relay all important information to your supervisor
- Basic computer skills (excel, word, outlook)
- Ability to learn new computer programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand instructions and follow processes and procedures
- Ability to use multiple data points to deduce potential field issues
- Ability to work independently, from home or the office
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug test
- This position is primarily remote, with occasional office visits required
- Work schedule consists of four 10 hour shifts per week
- Must be available for shift work, including nights and weekends
