Gardener/Landscaper

Job Overview:

Mountainworks Landscape is looking for a gardener to join their staff for this summer season. Pay begins at $24/hour.

The gardening position specializes in maintaining and enhancing flower beds and garden spaces. Responsibilities include weeding, pruning, deadheading, and transplanting plants to maintain vibrant landscapes. Additional tasks include spring and fall cleanups, planting seasonal flowers, designing and maintaining garden layouts, performing soil preparation, and applying mulch and fertilizers as needed. This position requires a keen eye for garden aesthetics, plant identification, and plant health awareness. Hand tools and power tools may be used for various gardening tasks.

Requirements:

- US driver's license

- Experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, or related field - preferred

- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques -preferred

- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively

- Strong attention to detail

- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
