Job Description
IHI Power Services Corp. has a career opportunity for a Fuel System Operator at our Sunnyside coal mine location in Utah.
Job Summary
The Fuel System Operator is responsible for fuels management and ensuring the efficient flow of fuel into the Sunnyside power plant coal silos. The position oversees the operations of the stationary fuel handling and processing equipment, to include monitoring equipment to ensure operations within normal operating parameters, identification of abnormal conditions and responding promptly based on approved operating procedures.
Conducts day to day operations and maintenance of the plant to include supporting plant operations, mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance. Is fully proficient in at least one of the disciplines listed above and as such has the ability to support other technicians in their roles. This position reports to the O&M Supervisor. Under certain circumstances, the reporting requirement may be to the O&M Manager or Plant Manager.
