About The Role
As a Fuel Contract Manager, you will ensure that customer technical and delivery requirements are met while maximizing contract value. Your work will involve interaction with customers and requires both engineering and commercial expertise to manage contracts. The role includes responsibilities such as leading engineering activities, resolving technical issues, and maintaining customer relationships, all while supporting Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions.
You will report to the Fuel Portfolio Manager. This is a hybrid role based in Columbia, SC.
Key Responsibilities•Assure customer's technical and delivery requirements are met and contract value is maximized. Communicate customer's needs to the team. Be an engineering and commercial focal point for all communications with customers concerning contracted deliverables
•Lead role for major Nuclear Fuel delivery activities; order implementation and control. Resolve technical problems for specific assigned customers and serve as customer interface for gaining customer acceptance. Interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation to support Westinghouse engineering positions.
•Financial responsibility to assure that customers billing plans are entered and sustained, invoices are issued and revenue recognition / EBIDTA targets are met.
•Maintain systems supporting Financial Planning, Business Planning and Demand Planning.
•Maintain a Customer Scorecard and provide periodic updates to management.
•Track execution of contract work scope based on knowledge of the fuel or components contract.
•Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Nuclear Fuel contract, products, and services.
•Help integrate products and service capabilities to resolve customer needs.
•Prepare and issue Job Order Documents for each fuel reload based on customer requirements.
•Support Account Teams with multi-department proposal/contract preparations and negotiations.
•Facilitate assignment of Nuclear Fuel product line engineering resources for technical situations.
•Manage contract schedule and billing plan using SAP, ENOVIA, EDMS, and other tools.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's's degree in a technical discipline/engineering
•3+ years' experience in product line/engineering/marketing/projects organizations or equivalent.
•Nuclear industry experiences helpful
•Knowledge of fuel and components manufacturing, core and reload engineering, Nuclear Fuel products and services, commercial operations, financial planning, and strategic goals.
•Previous customer-oriented experience helpful
