About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated
Contract Manager
to manage and support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) contracts across the full lifecycle—from proposal through closeout. This role will interface with government customers, internal stakeholders (program management, legal, supply chain, and finance), and subcontractors to ensure compliance with federal regulations and contractual obligations. You will be a key enabler of mission-critical work supporting national defense and advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare, negotiate, and administer DoD prime contracts and subcontracts in accordance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and company policy.
•Support proposal development including contract risk assessments, pricing guidance, terms review, and compliance checks.
•Support contract negotiations with DoD agencies and major subcontractors.
•Ensure timely and accurate contract modifications, funding actions, and reporting.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for contracting matters with government contracting officers (COs) and administrative contracting officers (ACOs).
•Maintain compliant contract files and support internal and external audits (e.g., DCMA, DCAA).
•Advise program managers and business development teams on contractual obligations, deliverables, and change management.
•Support contract closeout, including final invoice reconciliation and government property disposition.
•Monitor contract performance metrics, risks, and opportunities throughout the program lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Government, or related field.
•4+ years of experience in U.S. government contract administration
•Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other government acquisition regulations.
•Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
•U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred, But Not Required:
•NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM).
•Experience with complex contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ, OTA).
