Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•
Operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
•
Utilize pallet jacks and RF scanners for efficient order picking and inventory management.
•
Build and assemble pallets according to specifications, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
•
Maintain an organized warehouse environment by following established procedures for storage and retrieval.
•
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any mechanical issues.
•
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse setting is preferred.
•
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes is advantageous.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
•
Ability to operate clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
•
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•
Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
•
A valid forklift operator certification is required.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
