Position Title: Foreman, Tower

Essential Functions:

The Tower Foreman to lead the day-to-day performance, safety, production, and quality expectations on a variety of wireless tower projects. This position will perform work on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing wireless communications equipment. The Foreman will be a team leader and mentor to various Tower Technicians
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Ensure safety is always being adhered to using proper procedures such as 100% tie off as well as completing daily JSA/toolbox talks.
•Work with the Project Manager daily to ensure schedules and budgets are being met
•Verify ordered project materials are accurate and complete reviewing BOMs
•Ability to climb and rescue at 100 feet or more with 50lb. load
•Ability to complete coax, fiber, boom, microwave dishes, antenna, and radio installations
•Responsible for tracking and approving time for all crew members
•Ensures tools and equipment on project sites are always being utilized and maintained responsibly
•Ability to perform PIM, sweep, fiber, and antenna alignment testing on site set rets and program equipment as needed
•Communicate with customers, providing daily updates and problem resolution
•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, RFDS’, port diagrams, and tower/mount structural analysis’
•Complete project required close-out packages and take required photos, sending to management to verify installation has been done properly
•Train and develop Tower Technicians and Tower Foreman according to the Career Advancement Matrix (CAM)
•Performs other position as assigned by leadership
•Proficient-level ability to install radios, base station equipment, conduit, DC power wiring, AC Power and fiber optic cables

•Ability to climb and work up to 500+ft and lift over 50 lbs.

Experience and Education:
•Two (2+) years in a Foreman, Tower role overseeing wireless crews
•Five (5+) years of Wireless Industry Experience
•OSHA 30 Certification Required
•First Aid / CPR Certification Preferred
•NWSA certification is preferred
•Ability to use Rigging Calc to create and edit rigging plans as needed in the field is preferred
•Must show previous Competent Climber/Rescuer certification
•Tower Stacking experience is preferred (monopole, self-support, and guy towers)
•Equipment operation is preferred (skid steer and lull/telehandler forklift)
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
•Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Class A CDL License is preferred.
•Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
•Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
•When working on site, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment.
•May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite.
•Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humidity and rain.
