Summary of Position:
The Foreman, Production Operations supervises the daily production operations activities through Lead Operator, Artificial Lift Technician, and Lease Operators. This position is responsible for the safe, effective, and economic installation, operation and maintenance of oil and gas production operations across the assigned operating area.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Ensure that field operations are being conducted in compliance with all applicable state/province/provincial and federal regulations
•Ensure that work is completed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner
•Monitor groups operating expenses and optimize costs
•Coordinate as necessary with well servicing, drilling, completion, engineering, construction, and EHS groups.
•Responsible for maximizing production at minimum cost.
•Ensure Lease Operators understands well profitability and the impact of OPEX decisions and prioritize daily activities accordingly.
•Be present in the field and in tune with your wells and people.
•Recommend and implement maintenance and cost reduction programs.
•Maintain base production, facilitate routine route reviews with Lease Operators.
•Daily well performance, optimization, managing/reporting/addressing downtime.
•Identify well performance issues that need workover/wireline intervention.
•Monitor rental compressor reliability and performance, ensure unit meets the needs.
•Recommend changes in production operations and work with the Production Superintendent and Production Engineering on implementing changes.
•Establish and maintain good working relationships with surface owners and community leaders.
•Interact daily with Production/Facilities Engineers, Production Foremen & Superintendents, Automation Technicians, Measurement Technicians, Compressor Technicians, Chemical Technicians and Contractors to introduce, define, organize and complete projects
•Demonstrate safe and ethical behavior at all times and has an obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected
•Support the health, safety and welfare of all personnel working within his/her area of responsibility including visitors, contract personnel, and company employees
•Mentor, train, review, and develop Production personnel on good well surveillance tools and practices.
•Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
•Oil and Gas Industry Experience required.
•Knowledge of company policies, procedures and safe work practices required.
•Able to work within a team environment.
•Able to travel and work extended hours.
•Position requires operation of company vehicles, must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company vehicle policies.
•Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•High level experience with computer programs, production acounting programs and SCADA systems required.
•Able to take ownership of projects and responsibilities.
•Able to display a high level of accountability and initiative.
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
•Builds, supervises, and manages team providing direction, development and guidance.
•Responsible for setting expectations and building training as necessary for new and existing employees to develop skill sets.
•Expected to lead and teach by example, when necessary, on location and in the field.
Education & Experience:
•5-10 plus years’ relevant experience in oil & gas.
•1-2 plus years’ supervisory experience.
•High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Travel & Additional Requirements:
•Work is performed at a CIVI field location.
•Travel is required to other Civitas offices and field locations.

Base Pay Range: $121,000 - $140,000
