Fleet Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment in a fleet of heavy vehicles and diesel trucks, tractor trailers, vans, delivery trucks and pickups. Major repairs are subbed out.

Duties

- Keeping track of and performing routine maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment

- Ability to conduct brake repairs, alignments, and electrical system repairs preferred

- Ability to use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair vehicle components preferred

- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently preferred

Qualifications

-Class B CDL License with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000 - $75,000 per year

Starting pay range is based on skills and experience.

Expected hours: 40 per week; some Saturdays in winter months
