Fire Restoration/remodeling/carpenter/laborer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks

- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results

- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers

- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage

- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving equipment or materials

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities

- Knowledge of masonry and concrete finishing techniques

- Familiarity with power tools used in painting and general labor

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate color application

- Experience in restoring or remodeling projects is a plus

- Understanding of color theory and the ability to mix paints to achieve desired shades

- Proficiency in caulking and other surface preparation techniques
