Role Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing, industrial services or oil field services industry and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
•Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
•Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
•Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
•Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
•Develop financial forecasts and models.
•Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
3. Working Capital Management:
•Control cash-in and cash-out.
•Manage work-in-progress, inventory, payables and receivables.
•Implement measures to improve FCF.
4. Internal Controls, Tax and Compliance:
•Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
•Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
•Ensure compliance with group standards and policies (Altrad Red Zones)
•Work with internal and external Tax groups to ensure state and federal compliance
5. Team Leadership:
•Manage and mentor the finance team.
•Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
•Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
6. Strategic Planning:
•Support strategic planning initiatives.
•Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
•Participate in business development and investment decisions.
•Conduct ROI analysis for Capex and other company investments
7. Systems and Process Improvement:
•Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes.
•Implement best practices in financial management.
•Ensure the effective use of financial software and tools.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•CPA or CMA certification preferred.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on manufacturing or oil field services.
•Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
•Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Strong leadership and team management abilities.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•Willingness to travel as needed. (up to 20% travel required)
