Role: Financial Analyst

Office Location: North York – Hybrid Work

As a Financial Analyst your primary goal will be to provide general accounting, forecasting, financial reporting and analytical support to the Manager, Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis and other corporate office departments, as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete month/year-end financial close process for assigned division(s)

- Prepare monthly financial reporting package including variance and driver-based financial statement analysis including, but not limited to, monthly financial projections, cost-benefit analysis for new capital acquisition and analysis of results.

- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations for assigned division(s) to support process/pricing/costing decisions.

- Provide information and analysis for assigned division(s) related to the annual audit cycle and annual planning cycle.

- Review divisional annual budget.

- Provide general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and analytical support to the Manager, Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis.

- Ad-hoc financial and analysis support to finance and all department heads.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration.

- Knowledge of general accounting software, Business Central & Power BI is an asset.

- Knowledge of financial reporting, financial planning, reconciliation and analysis.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; proficient in Word, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet required timelines.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills.

- Skilled in working with other employees and all levels of management in a professional manner.
