Complete assignments related to routine inventory replenishments, modifications, and rework of field tooling assets. Applies limited knowledge of inventory management, mechanics, tooling knowledge, computer data entry, and day-to-day time management.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

Applies basic mechanical knowledge to execute tasks, assist higher level technicians, participate in team assignments to stock and maintain assets, and maintain work area to company standards. Works under close supervision using verbal instructions as guidance. Learns to use shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, and inspection equipment. Assignments could include (but are not limited to) any of the following activities:

1.Evaluating inventory and restocking field assets

2.Replace and repair assets as needed to maintain field readiness

3.Pulling, preparing, and packaging replenishment lists in support of field projects

4.Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining factory inventory

5.Entering data for maintaining field assets, transferring inventory, and updating schedules for field assets

Skills and Qualifications:

- Must be able to learn team skills and apply them to the assignments given, working in a teaming environment.

- Some exposure to mechanics or electronics, or familiarity with shop floor procedures is strongly preferred.

- Exposure to Solar Turbines Manufacturing environment preferred
