SUMMARY OF POSITION

Field Technician position is an important role to the Gateway team. We are looking to add 3 hard-working individuals; eager to learn, and with a positive attitude to join our team. Our shop technicians play a vital role in providing the best service and expertise to our customers, needed to repair BOP’S and Accumulators as well as responding to field service calls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•

FIELD TECHNICIAN | Operate hand tools and powered tools,

•

Perform work safely and diligently follow checklists, policies, processes & procedures,

•

Complete appropriate paperwork for incoming/outgoing jobs,

•

Work with varying materials/ equipment indoors and outdoors,

•

Perform general shop tasks as directed by the supervisor,

•

Perform general shop housekeeping duties,

•

Ability to work evenings, weekends and overtime to meet deadlines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•

Prior Forklift Operator experience is an asset, but not required,

•

Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset, but not required,

•

Permanent resident of Canada,

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,

•

Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, problem-solving and attention to detail,

•

Valid drivers’ license,

•

Able to deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a professional & timely manner,

•

Ability to work independently and as a team,

•

Eager to work and learn new skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

•

Ability to lift heavy objects,

•

Work in varying weather conditions,

•

Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time,

•

Working evenings, weekends and overtime.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
