We are looking for an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage bridge, dam, and heavy concrete construction projects throughout Maine. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and project schedules to ensure safe and successful execution.
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bridge, dam, and heavy concrete construction, with strong leadership and project management skills.
Oversee and coordinate daily field operations for bridge, dam, and heavy civil concrete projects across Maine.
Lead and manage field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and mitigating potential delays.
Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, troubleshoot field challenges, and maintain high-quality workmanship.
Manage workforce, materials, and equipment needs to optimize job site performance.
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and progress updates.- Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on bridge, dam, and heavy concrete work.
- Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret project documents, and execute work accordingly.

- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites throughout Maine.
