Field Service Technician/Driver

Evolution Power Projects, based in Fort St. John, supplies power equipment to oil, gas, and construction projects across BC and Alberta. We’re hiring Field Service Technicians/Drivers with a Heavy Haul Endorsement or the ability to obtain said endorsement. Mechanical aptitude experience with generators are strong assets. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resume in to our location IN PERSON as well.

This role involves field work, travel between BC and Alberta (typically 4–7 days/month), and longer shifts at times. It is not a camp position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, clean abstract, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying terrain. Overtime and double time are available.

Compensation & Benefits

- $32–$40/hour (based on experience)

- Overtime after 8 hours/day; double time after 12

Requirements

- Heavy Haul Endorsement or ability to obtain

- Willingness to travel; Fort St. John must be home base

- Ability to assist with maintenance on generators, heaters, light towers, and vehicles

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

- Drug/alcohol screening required

Assets

- Mechanical or electrical training/certification

- Turbine generator experience

- H2S and First Aid (training provided if needed)
