The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Field Service Team Lead for our High Voltage Central Field Service team! In this role, you will lead a skilled team of field service technicians, engineers, and contractors. You’ll be responsible for scheduling resources, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. •

Define, develop, and implement goals and objectives for the organization

•

Maintain broad oversight of operations and direct timely responses to issues

•

Promote independent actions of staff to improve operations and customer relations

•

Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety guidelines

•

Provide leadership in conflict resolution and staff development

•

Develop customer relationships and strategies to meet financial and strategic goals

•

Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue new opportunities

•

Oversee quality of work and responsiveness to customer needs

•

Manage and ensure compliance with contractual agreements

•

Promote staff training and manage performance

•

Take full ownership of the field service P&L

•

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

•

Technical degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

•

8–10 years of relevant industry experience

•

Minimum 2 years of people management experience

•

Willingness to travel for site inspections and customer meetings

•

Experience in high voltage field service (installation, commissioning, repair, etc.)

•

Valid driver’s license

•

Experience with MS Office365, SharePoint, SAP (asset)
