As a Manager of Field Service Operations, you will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of the valve training programs. This will involve managing an industry leading program, ensuring that all training activities are aligned with company procedures, and that they address the needs of the organization. You will be an experienced leader with an understanding of training methodologies and the ability to guide, support, and assess team members with varying levels of experience.
You will report to the Sr. Director, Valve Alliance. This is a remote that can be performed from anywhere in the United States, however travel will be required up to 50%.
Key Responsibilities:
•Mentor the individuals supporting their specific valve training; MOV, AOV, general valves, and valve analysis
•Create the training strategy and plan, including scope of services, development requirements, deployment methods and success metrics
•Facilitate training sessions and related workshops
•Oversee the creation and maintenance of training materials, including manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
•Create qualification criteria and certification process for relevant roles across the value chain
•Collaborate across business segments to optimize services and processes to support seasonal Outages
•Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and communication methods and resources through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
•Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership regarding the activities of the team
•Manage the training budget and resources, ensuring that all training activities are cost-effective and within budget.
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma required. College degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
•5 years of relevant business experience required. 7+ years strongly preferred
•Proficient with valve training per EPRI standards
•Strong understanding of training methodologies and best practices.
•Proficiency in using training software and tools, including e-learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
