The Field Recruiter is primarily responsible for identifying, onboarding, and staffing rig workers for assigned work locations. This role involves collaboration with field leadership to ensure effective recruitment and placement of workers, as well as participating in career fairs and other recruitment activities.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Review applications and resumes for qualified field positions.
- Conduct and organize interviews with field leadership.
- Extend offers of employment and oversee the onboarding process, including interviews, background checks, physicals, drug screens, and training.
- Collaboration & Planning:
- Analyze and project future field employment needs.
- Work closely with field Superintendents and Rig Managers.
- Assist with new hire and rehire processes in Workday.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate placements of field hires to rigs or worksites.
- Assist with maintenance and warehouse recruiting processes.
- Participate in college and career fair efforts.
- Employee Relations:
- Oversee and coordinate field employee layoffs and recalls.
- Resolve personnel issues related to new hire performance.
- Conduct exit interviews with former employees.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with 1-3 years of experience in recruitment preferred
- Experience with Workday Recruiting is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and internet usage.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and multitask.
