We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled

Design Inspector

to join our team at K&A Engineering in

Oak Brook, Illinois.

Role Expectations

- Data Collection

- Prepare work orders and materials specifications.

- Perform field surveys and stakeouts.

- Acquire necessary permits and State approvals.

- Input data into the SAP WMS and SmartMap systems, GIS, others and reconcile project completions

- Provide alternatives to completing specific projects.

- Complete preliminary surveying and layouts.

- Conduct field measurements and/or field survey to produce base plans for engineering design.

- Utilize computer services as required in surveying and mapping activities

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of High School Diploma required.

- Ability to accurately collect data

- Knowledge of GPS Systems preferred

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project or Equivalent

- Must be willing to travel to construction sites on a day-to-day basis, walking site to site, and attend meetings as needed

- Must have current US Work authorization and valid US Driver License in good standing

Pay Range: $20—$26/hour
