Inspector

This is an entry level Quality Control role in a manufacturing environment. The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and recording/maintaining data while following company polices/procedures around Quality and Safety.

- Conduct a variety of dimensional, welding, and machining inspections for incoming and outgoing metal products using calibrated gages and tools

- Record accurate and comprehensive inspection documents

- Follow process checklists and procedures and coordinate inspection activity with department supervision

- Follow Company Quality Control and Safety procedures/policies

- These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is a plus.

- Quick learner

- Ability to follow instructions

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings

- Strong safety habits

- Ability to use measuring gages/equipment
