Repair experience and abilities must meet the following requirements:

•

Minimum 5 years experience with repair of Caterpillar and Kenworth equipment.

•

CAT ET/SIS, Cummins Insite- able to perform troubleshooting, install, remove, rebuild, replace, repair, in-frame, test, adjust, and PM service.

•

Proficient to expert with electrical, air systems, drive train, power train, hydraulic, pumps, valves, undercarriage, implements, emission and regeneration systems on various models of heavy construction equipment and trucks.

•

Extensive knowledge to include component rebuild repair.

Duties and Responsibilities

•

Receives written or oral instructions from supervisor regarding equipment to be serviced.

•

Troubleshoot, rebuilds, replaces and repairs tires, brakes, drive train, power train, electrical, hydraulic and emissions systems.

•

Inspects, cleans, maintains, and lubricates equipment.

•

Able to make accurate and timely repairs while keeping a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

•

5 years minimum experience in Heavy Equipment, class 8 truck and component repair.

•

Trade School in Diesel Tech or Apprentice Program.

•

Ability to lift 75 lbs.

•

Must hold a valid driver license with a clean driving record.

•

Class A or Class B CDL preferred by not required.

•

Self-motivated with strong work ethic.

•

Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
