Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment operates at peak performance, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and Redi-Mix cement trucks.
•
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
•
Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
•
Maintain accurate records of service performed on all equipment.
•
Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
•
Suspend operations when necessary to ensure safety during maintenance tasks.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role, with a focus on vehicle maintenance and equipment repair.
•
Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
