FIELD ENGINEER/ TECHNOLOGIST

JOB SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- This position is responsible for assisting with water treatment operations.

- The primary duties of this role are:

- To drive to locations and collect samples using proper procedures.

- To conduct lab testing on samples

- To recommend treatment programs for the water collected

- Produce lab reports for your work

- Daily report spreadsheet checks and maintenance

- Perform reviews of chemical programs. Preform chemical optimization analysis on ongoing and proposed operations.

- Troubleshoot treatment operations with alternative chemical suggestions using your knowledge

- Conduct field visits regularly to QAQC operations and installs.

- Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.

- Provide chemical advisory oversight with willingness to travel to remote field locations as required.

- Provide operational logistics as it applies to your role

- Provide project improvement proposals, present to management and implement them.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- The role will be based in Midland, TX. And the successful candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to the Midland area. fly in-fly out will not be considered.

- Required- technical experience in a related field

- Knowledgeable of solutions to various water contaminants and how to use chemistry to remove those

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Valid drivers license

PREFFERED JOB KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

Working knowledge of upstream or midstream oil and gas operations

Working Knowledge of SWD’s and water gathering system operations

Working Knowledge of Automation systems pertinent to water treatment systems

Experience with water treatment process and equipment such as DAFs, H2S treatment, filtration technologies and more

- Degree or Diploma in related field
